ANNE-MAJ MORTENSEN FINDS her ex-husband’s bloody body in a luxurious apartment in Nykøbing Sjælland’s Marina. The older man has, as it appears, committed suicide, and no one can understand why. To her annoyance Anne-Maj gets tasked with selling the apartment, and it quickly becomes a struggle with a seemingly smart real estate agent and too many moving boxes. In the midst of it all Anne-Maj surprises a couple that mysteriously has managed to get keys to the apartment to have sex – and soon she suspects that the local real estate agent is behind an organized misuse of empty apartments.
THE POLICE, AS usual, do not take Anne-Maj seriously, not even when another body, and then one more dead person is found and Anne-Maj believes they are all connected. Soon the police must admit their mistakes…..
