Congratulations Susanna Alakoski and Mats Söderlund to the Örjan Lindberger Award!
The award is given to authors, researchers or educators who have made important advancements in increasing the public interest and/or understanding of poetry, storytelling and drama.
The most commonly associated fields of work related to such efforts are those who predominantly see writing and and other media as their main craft such as books, essays, articles, study guides, radio, tv and internet forums – which directly or indirectly can be of use in educating the public.
The Örjan Lindberger-Award 2019 goes to Susanna Alakoski and Mats Söderlund for their many years of work with literary writing courses and literary writing education in book and magazine-form as well as their individual highly significant authorship.
Mats Söderlund’s critically acclaimed YA novel The Threat nominated for Norrlands Litteraturpris 2019
We are happy to share the news that The Threat, the first book in the Descendants trilogy by Mats Söderlund, has been nominated for Norrlands Litteraturpris 2019. The winner will be announced in the beginning of July.

Caroline Ringskog Ferrada-Noli’s powerful novel Rich Boy is nominated for Nöjesguiden’s Stockholmspris this year. The prize is given to persons and organizations who have meant a lot for Stockholm the past year. The winner will be announced December 15th.
Simona Ahrnstedt nominated with two books for LovelyBooks’ Der Leserpreis 2018
Simona Ahrnstedt has not one but TWO books nominated for LovelyBooks’ Der Leserpreis 2018. Der Lesepreis is Germany’s biggest readers’ choice book award and Ahrnstedt is nominated for Best Historical novel with Coercion (German title Eine unbeugsame Braut) and for Best Romance novel with All or Nothing (German title After Work)
