Elisabeth Åsbrink receives Expressen’s Björn Nilsson Prize

We are incredibly happy for Elisabeth Åsbrink and the recognition she has been receiving after being awarded the Björn Nilsson prize at Sweden’s newspaper Expressen’s awards gala earlier in March.

Always in solidarity, never cowardly. In her hands, the past is transformed into living and burning materia. With her eyes fixed on the pressure points, she unveils the true face of the Swedish society.

The Björn Nilsson Prize for Good Cultural Journalism 2024 goes to Elisabeth Åsbrink. The jury consists of the cultural editors of Expressen.
