Louise Boije af Gennäs has signed a three-book-deal with Bazar Publishing for a new suspense series. The first book in the Stella Polaris series will be published fall 2022.

During some years I have had in my mind a strong, smart and penniless upper class woman, a woman who goes against conventions and opens a private investigation firm. Now the stars are aligned and this character will finally come to life, I am so thrilled,” says Louise Boije af Gennäs.

Louise Boije af Gennäs is one of Sweden’s most beloved authors. She debuted with Taking What You Want in 1991 and became a household name with the massive success of Stars Without Vertigo in 1996. Her latest trilogy, The Resistance Trilogy, has sold to more than 10 countries worldwide with a television series based on the novels in development.
In the new Stella Polaris series, we will follow a female private investigator with roots in Sweden’s upper class, but with a strong will to prove to herself and the world around her that she can create her own independence and success.
