HARRIET IS A young criminal investigator with an all too absent love life. She wants to experience something new and decides to break up and move to Skåne. In Landskrona, her old father Eugen is waiting for her, and a new, exciting job with the police. Harriet moves into her father’s house in the picturesque fishing village of Lerviken, but soon she longs to return to Stockholm. She feels like an outcast among her colleagues and it doesn’t help that her boss doesn’t take her seriously.

THEN A MURDER occurs on an estate near Harriet’s home, and when another body is found at the murder scene, Harriet has to prove herself. Suddenly, Lerviken is anything but idyllic, and everyone Harriet has known since she was a child becomes a suspect in the investigation. Could the killer be someone she knows?

THE EYEWITNESS IS  the start of a new crime series set in Öresund. It’s fast-paced suspense with an imperfect and funny heroine in the lead role.
