Best crime and thriller of the year!

International thriller The Conductor from S:t Petersburg (Dirigenten från S:t Petersburg) by authors Camilla Grebe and Paul Leander-Engström was awarded the prestigious prize for Best Crime and Thriller Audio Book 2013. The suspenseful novel has already sold to 5 territories around the world and is the first installation in the Moscow Noir trilogy.

Author’s Camilla Grebe and Paul Leander-Engström have created an insightful and satisfyingly unpredictable thriller that feels realistic and extremely topical. CAROLINE JENSEN – WINNER OF LANDSKRONA CITY’S CULTURE AWARD 2013!

Congratulations to Caroline Jensen – Winner of Landskrona City’s Culture Award 2013!
The jury’s motivation is: “Through her writing Caroline has contributed to the growing awareness of crossover literature and she is inspiring young people to discover the fantastic world of reading. With her short stories she reaches readers both in Sweden and beyond our borders.”

Caroline Jensen debuted in 2008 with the autobiographical book The Champagne Girl. Since then she has written numerous short horror stories, each more scary than the other. Next year her first young adult novel, Demonology for Beginners will be published by MIX Forlag, Sweden.

BENNI BØDKER RECEIVES LIBRARY AWARD

Benni Bødker has received the School Library Association’s Author Price 2013.
The prize is awarded to a Danish authorship that has contributed to the development of children’s and young reader’s experiences and/or knowledge.

Benni Bødker receives the price for an authorship that with it’s fast paced and action packed series manages to catch the reluctant readers–once they have entered a world created by Benni Bødker they will find it difficult to let go.
THE DEVIL’S EYES, the book chosen to represent his authorship, is a unique and yet classical pirate story.
The book takes off at a cemetery and ends with a man in a garret and within this narrative frame the reader will learn of a young boy, an evil captain and a great treasure.
