We are proud to share that Jesper Bugge Kold and Søren Sveistrup have been nominated for the prestigious Læsernes Bogpris 2025 (The Readers’ Book Prize), presented by the Danish Library Association in collaboration with public libraries across Denmark.
Jesper Bugge Kold is nominated for his historical novel Where The Wind Blows – a powerful and moving story about a poor family from 19th-century Funen who emigrates to America in search of a better life.
Søren Sveistrup, internationally acclaimed for his work on the hit series The Killing, is nominated for his latest crime novel Count to One, Count to Two that soared to top of the charts.
The award is based on public voting, and the winner will be announced at the Library Policy Summit in Herning on April 24, 2025. Voting is open until April 20, and the winning author will receive a prize of 50,000 DKK.
