LIV – LIV
By Mikaela Bley
IT IS A hot day in late August when crime reporter Ellen Tamm leaves Stockholm for her parents’ home in Sörmland, further south. She can no longer run away from the past and the dark memories that were brought to life when she reported on the Lycke case in the beginning of the summer. Now she’s going back to the place where it all began, when she was eight years old and her twin sister died.
WHEN ELLEN STOPS for petrol in along the highway, she hears that a woman has been found brutally beaten to death in a field some distance away. No one seems to know who she was or what she was doing in the area, and the murder shocks many in the village. Ellen begins to investigate the fate of the dead woman and the more she starts to dig into what happened, the more she realises that the idyllic small-town holds dark secrets and that there is much that is not as it seems. Not least when it comes to herself and her sister’s death.
THE SUSPENSE NOVEL Liv is the second book in the series about the headstrong TV4 journalist Ellen Tamm, and a stand-alone sequel to Lycke.
