We are so thrilled to announce that Sara Gordan has been awarded Tidningen Vi’s Literary Prize for best novel 2022 with the following motivation: “With the claustrophobic depiction about how the inner and outer conflicts in parenthood coincide in The Night, Sara Gordan brings her authorship to the next level. With a striking contrast between the precise and restrained prose and the uncompromising love it describes, she has written a deeply moving novel.”
Among the previous recipients of the prize we find names such as Mikeal Niemi, Sara Stridsberg and Karolina Ramqvist. Congratulations, Sara!
