The author and member of the Swedish Academy Steve Sem-Sandberg is awarded the Delblanc Prize 2021 “for his big, internationally focused authorship, phrased in a language that never leaves the precise nor the poetic”, the jury writes and continues:
“With Sem-Sandberg our shared European traumas, that shaped the world we live in today, are constantly present.”
