Eleonora Svanberg is 24 years old and holds a master’s degree in applied mathematics from St John’s College, University of Cambridge, and a bachelor’s degree in physics from Stockholm University. In October 2024, she will start her PhD in Applied Mathematics at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. She is an advocate for equality, soft academia and healthy studying.
She uses social media to impact society and to reach out to young people. In total, she has over 200 000 followers and millions of views on her platforms and is an inspiration for the youth, especially young girls, interested in the STEM subjects. Her content covers everything from studying tips to work-life balance and femininity/beauty. Eleonora is also the founder of the non-profit organization called Girls in STEM and has collaborated with big brands and organizations such as Apple, Notion, imagiLabs, TikTok UK and GeekGirlMeetup. In 2021 she was awarded the Compass Rose Award by H.M the Swedish King for her work.
Her book, Study With Me, features practical study tips focussed on mental health & ‘soft studying’, it is an illustrated motivational handbook aiming to inspire and raise confidence in the STEM subjects, specifically for girls aged 11+. The objective is to motivate and inspire anyone who has an interest in STEM and who sometimes feels like the math isn’t mathing.
The book is published by FriTanke in Sweden and it reached the bestseller list during when Eleonora announced signed pre-orders!
