SVT makes drama series from The Hurting Point about “7:3” and the murders in Malexander.

25 years have passed since Lars Norén staged his controversial theatre play “7:3”. The main characters were three violent criminals from Tidaholm Prison. One of them took part in a bank robbery where two police officers were shot dead, known as the Malexander murders. SVT is now releasing the drama series The Hurting Point, based on Elisabeth Åsbrink‘s book about the play and its consequences.

– ‘We have an ambition to portray the modern history of Sweden and this story is a big part of that,’ says SVT Drama’s program director Anna Croneman.
