The Sandhamn Murders is one of C More’s most popular and successful shows of all time. Now the series is back with its ninth season, starting April 3rd on C More and on April 17th on TV4 and TV4 Play. Set in Sandhamn, a picturesque archipelago outside of Stockholm, prosecutor Nora Linde (Alexandra Rapaport) takes on three new exciting cases.
“I love that we get to continue the relationships and stories in the Sandhamn series. I receive so much love and appreciation for my Nora. It makes me proud,” says Alexandra Rapaport.
The Sandhamn Murders are based on the universe of Viveca Sten‘s bestselling crime novels. In the ninth season, Nora (Alexandra Rapaport) and Alexander (Nicolai Cleve Broch) continue to deny their feelings for each other, and in the first episode, Alexander goes on a blind date with great potential. Pär (Anton Lundqvist) begins to demand greater challenges at work, while Alexander and “The Puppy” (Julius Fleischanderl) have formed a successful partnership. In this season, Nora takes on three new cases involving a kidnapping, suspected human trafficking, and a 30-year-old double homicide.
The cast also includes, among others, Gustaf Hammarsten, Jonas Malmsjö, and Anna Sise.
“The characters in The Sandhamn Murders are like dear friends. I look forward to following their new challenges in the archipelago. The viewers have an exciting season ahead,” says Viveca Sten.
The Sandhamn Murders is produced by Filmlance International, which is part of Banijay. The producer is Martin Cronström. The director is Mattias Ohlsson. The scripts are written by Johan Widerberg and Sara Heldt. The executive producer for C More and TV4 is Petra Ahlin.
