For the sixth year in a row, BookBeat will celebrate the best crime fiction of the year during the Crimetime festival at the Göteborg Book Fair on Saturday, September 28. The three prizes awarded are “Swedish Crime Author of the Year”, “Swedish Crime Novel of the Year” and “Swedish Crime Voice of the Year”. The award is entirely data-driven and based on statistics showing how BookBeat’s 250,000 Swedish users have listened to the nominated authors, books and narrators. The winner is chosen by combining popularity, listening and ratings over the past year.
And Viveca Sten is nominated in two categories “Sweden’s Crime Author of the Year” and “Sweden’s Crime Novel of the Year”.
