Christian Unge is a chief physician and author who among other things has worked for Doctors Without Borders. His first crime series, The Africa Trilogy, was published in 2012. Being a prolific author Unge has written both fiction and non-fiction, including the autobiography If I Have a Bad Day, Someone Might Die and Part of Everything which is about his relationship with his father. For the past years he has also run the successful medical podcast Ronden.
Now he is back with a new novel, The Limitless, the first thrilling installation of a new series starring DCI Hanna Mansouri. In this fast paced suspense set in Stockholm we meet a rich and colorful character gallery where nothing is as it seems.
A dead naked body sets of the plot and Hanna and her colleagues are faced with petty criminal losers who have bitten off way more than they can chew, international art heists and the thrill-seeking upper class. It explores the chaos of what could happen when a group of ordinary people are drawn into a criminal underworld they cannot control.
And the book was picked as one of the best new books right now by Aftonbladet!
